Merry Turner, founder of La Tarte, began supplying upscale groceries in the Milwaukee area with her signature Granny Apple pie in 1990. 

Thirty years later and La Tarte is still serving up Merry’s famous pie in the friendly neighborhood bakery and coffee house in the 68th & Wells District of Wauwatosa. We won’t sugar-coat it for you, you’re getting the full Wisconsin experience when you visit Rocket Baby Bakery. Owned by multiple local families, this bakery prides itself on only using local Wisconsin ingredients. They are currently open for pick-up and delivery, but you can also take a stroll on over to scoop up sweet or savory treats from their walk-up window.

Simma’s Bakery is a family-owned bakery that has been serving up fresh treats for the people of Wisconsin for 38 years.
